Job Description
This is an entry level CNC programmer role. Ideal candidates would contribute to the development and standardization of CNC programs and techniques used for detailing machines and tools at Persico USA. Duties and responsibilities include below tasks, as well as other supporting functions: CAM programming using WorkNC CAM software Develop procedures, work instructions and standard CAM training plans Perform setup and run CNC programs on assigned equipment per production schedule. Change cutting tools and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed. Read blueprints and prepare next jobs for reducing setup times. Utilize CNC controls to program manually cutting operations, milling, drilling, taping etc. Conduct hands on inspection of machined products utilizing precision equipment and tools required for quality control. Clean and maintain assigned CNC equipment and area. Complete start up checks and operation of key machine elements such as cooling and lubrication systems. Detail timekeeping per job and tasks. Support Preventive Maintenance of CNC machines and equipment. Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
