We're seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support precision machining and tooling operations within a manufacturing environment. This position will focus on CNC milling programming, process optimization, troubleshooting, and supporting quality and production goals. Key Responsibilities Develop, modify, and optimize CNC milling programs using Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar CAM software Program CNC Vertical Machining Centers for tooling components and precision-machined parts Interpret blueprints, CAD models, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements Create setup documentation including tooling, machine setups, tool paths, pickup points, and machining requirements Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to reduce downtime and maintain production flow Improve machining processes to increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance part quality Support optical inspection programming and automated quality verification Monitor cutting tool performance and assist with tooling inventory and purchasing Maintain accurate CNC programs and make updates based on engineering or process changes Partner with engineering, quality, production, and machine operators to resolve manufacturing challenges Follow established safety and quality standards Qualifications 5+ years of CNC milling programming experience, preferably within metal stamping, tooling, or die manufacturing Proficiency with Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or comparable CAM software Strong knowledge of G-code, CNC machining, tooling, feeds, and speeds Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience supporting toolroom or die manufacturing operations preferred Optical inspection system experience is a plus You should be proficient in: CNC Programming G-Code CAD/CAM Software
