Job Description

50+ year-old manufacturing company has an opening for a CNC Programmer / Support Technician. Direct-hire position with outstanding benefits - includes profit sharing, 401K match, generous PTO, health/dental, and more!
Duties:
Create and maintain CNC programs, set up instructions, and update existing CNC programs using CAM software Document tooling and setup procedures to maximize the ability of the machine operators and machinists to perform part-to-part changeovers Lead small projects and groups for continuous improvement efforts Assist with material, tooling, and machine selection processes to drive continuous improvements and obtain equipment with the latest technology Act as the project leader for new equipment selection and implementation with an emphasis on automation Analyze data and present summaries to justify process, tooling, or machine changes Interfacing with design engineering, machinists, machine operators, and quality/inspection personnel Utilize ERP software to track and monitor consumable items
Requirements:
AAS Degree in a machine / tool technology degree (or similar) preferred 3+ years of experience in programming turning operations (lathes, multi turret and spindle lathes, mill turns) MasterCAM Mill experience a plus Experience using Solidworks to create CAM programs a big plus Ability to perform complete setup and operation of a wide range of CNC machining centers Experience mentoring and leading projects and other group activities ERP systems experience Microsoft Excel proficiency Ability to pass a drug test
Salary:
$43-50/hr
