Analyze mechanical drawings and blueprints to fully grasp project requirements and expected outcomes. Convert technical instructions into machine-readable code to ensure accurate tool pathing and programming. Load necessary raw materials and components into the machinery. Execute initial test runs to verify that machine output aligns with project specifications. Configure equipment to run full production cycles for part fabrication. Monitor active machinery to make real-time adjustments that improve overall production quality. Evaluate finished components against design requirements to ensure high-quality standards are met. Perform daily equipment inspections to keep machinery in optimal working condition. Interpret sketches and technical documentation to ensure all project instructions are followed precisely. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following all safety protocols. Contribute to the creation and organization of reusable cut files to streamline future production. Keep an accurate inventory of all cutting bits and tooling supplies. Required Skills and Experience Proven expertise in toolpathing is essential. Proficiency in operating precision measurement tools and CNC machinery. Strong ability to interpret and understand mechanical documents and blueprints. Comfortable using computers with a foundational grasp of CAD/CAM and programming logic. Solid mechanical aptitude paired with strong mathematical abilities. Experience with AlphaCam or VCarve is considered an advantage.
