We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for our manufacturing facility in Long Island City, NY. Williams Valve is located at 3850 Review Avenue Long Island City, NY 11101. The CNC Programmer will program, set up, and operate CNC machinery while working closely with our manufacturing and quality teams to ensure components are produced accurately and efficiently. Experience with Mazak machines and programming is a plus. Responsibilities Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for machined valve components Set up and operate CNC lathes and related machining equipment Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and tolerances Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters Perform tool offsets, compensations, and program adjustments Complete first-piece inspections and verify parts meet specifications Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining issues Set up and operate conventional mills and lathes as needed Maintain established quality and productivity standards Assist with production and machining operations as necessary Coordinate routine machine maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety and quality procedures Qualifications Minimum of three years of CNC programming and machining experience Experience programming and setting up CNC lathes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and machining specifications Knowledge of tooling, offsets, speeds, feeds, and machining processes Experience with conventional mills and lathes Mazak machine and programming experience is a plus Okuma machine experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a manufacturing team Knowledge of applicable machine-shop safety procedures This position requires access to export-controlled technical data.
