Full Job Description Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM

• 4:00 PM (four 10-hour days).

Fridays are optional overtime. Three-day weekend, every week. Broda Machine Company, an ISO 9001-certified precision machine shop in Niagara Falls, NY, is looking for an experienced CNC Setup Machinist / Programmer. We've recently expanded, and we run a modern, climate-controlled facility with quality equipment and a team that takes pride in its work. In this role, you'll own the setup and programming of CNC mill and lathe jobs — taking prints to proven, running parts with minimal assistance. What you'll do:

• Perform complete machine setups: tooling, offsets, work holding, and first-article
• Write, edit, and prove out CNC programs from blueprints
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T, and apply solid shop math
• Troubleshoot setups and out-of-tolerance conditions, correcting within machine capabilities
• Run, inspect, and optimize jobs through completion What we're looking for:
• Experience in setup, programming, and operation of CNC lathes and/or mills (FANUC controls)
• Strong blueprint reading and geometric tolerance (GD&T) interpretation
• Solid knowledge of tooling, cutting tools, boring bars, inserts, fixtures, speeds and feeds
• Ability to troubleshoot, edit, and program from prints in a timely manner
• Advanced skill with precision measuring instruments
• Swiss CNC experience (Star, Tsugami) is a plus
