General Job Summary:
Develops and maintains software programs and libraries for the CNC Fabrication equipment (turret punches, lasers, combination turret/laser machines, press brakes, etc.) and related automation. Supports additional activities related to the CNC fabrication area as required.

Responsible for the evaluation and closure of technical NCMR's (Non-Conforming Material Reports) Provides technical support for the team across all shifts (manufacturing operators, maintenance associates, engineers, and supervisors) Identify and support "lights out" operations through related programming activities. Serve as a backup when needed for the development of MPCD's (Manufacturing Process Control Document) for fabricated products. Evaluates and closes action item requests generated from pre-production review activities (NORP / Proview) Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3-5 years related experience or training Associates degree (A.A.) preferred (Manufacturing Technology or related) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience 3-5 years of related experience or training
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook, Internet Explorer, Auto-CAD, strong 3D modeling (SolidWorks). Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming. Working knowledge of Amada and Mazak CNC programming software is preferred (Amada
VPSS 4IE
Blank, Dr. Abe Bend, Radan).
