In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC routing equipment to produce high-quality custom millwork components. Your expertise in our drawing and cam software, drawing interpretation, and precision measurement are required to initiate all projects within our ship. Our company has a great reputation for quality and higher end projects so attention to detail and care/contribution for the whole project are essential. Responsibilities Take solidworks files to alphacam Facilitate the first article and approval Manage operators Intergrate with other work centers to tweak and improve based on each jobs requirements. Participation with the production team Keeping track of shifting priorities and coordinating with other departments Assist in the overall execution and outcome of each unique project. Look for project improvements such as better or faster routing paths, as well as better integration with various subassemblies. Contribute to the overall improvement of the CNC department. We have (3) 3-axis CNC routers and one point to point.
