Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machinist & Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, setting up and some operating of advanced Salvagnini machines. Your expertise will ensure high-quality output while providing support to second shift operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to problem solve in a fast paced environment and contribute in growing organization. The position is a full time role with flexible swing shift to second shift hours offering a robust benefit package and competitive compensation. Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC machines including bender, punch and laser. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings. Utilize CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Salvagnini Stream for designing parts and preparing machining programs. Perform precision measurement in machining operations to verify dimensions and ensure conformance to specifications. Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall production flow. Requirements Proven experience operating and programming CNC machines. Prior experience working with .Salvagnini machines is a plus but not required. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related CAM programming tools. Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and schematics with a focus on geometric tolerances (GD&T). Understanding of manufacturing processes including lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly.
