Job Description

CNC Mill Programmer | Dayton, OH Our precision CNC machine shop in Dayton, Ohio is looking for an experienced, hands-on CNC Programmer who can own a job from concept to finished part. This isn't a program-and-walk-away role — we need someone who can program, set up, run mills, and design tooling/fixtures when the job calls for it. If you're a true problem solver who thinks through the whole process, not just the code, we want to talk to you. We're also looking for someone who wants to grow with our company long-term. What you'll do: Program CNC mills using Fusion 360 and SolidWorks for 3-4 axis operations Write and edit G-code for Haas and Fanuc controls Set up and run machines as needed to support production Design and implement custom tooling and fixtures to solve tricky part-holding and machining challenges Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T to plan machining strategies Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for a variety of materials Troubleshoot and optimize programs on the fly to improve cycle time, tool life, and part quality Work closely with machinists and shop staff from job planning through completion What we're looking for: 5+ years of CNC programming experience in a machine shop environment Proficiency in Fusion 360 and SolidWorks CAM Strong knowledge of Fanuc and Haas controls Experience with machine setup and operation, not just programming Tool and fixture design experience — you can engineer a solution when a standard setup won't cut it Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge A long-term mindset — genuinely invested in the quality of your work and the success of the shop Openness to taking on more responsibility over time
Pay & Schedule:
$30-$38/hour, based on experience First shift

$30.00 - $39.00 per hour
