Responsibilities:

Develop and write precise CNC programs for 5 Axis machines. Select the appropriate tools and determine the sequence of operations for each job. Perform complex programming tasks using CAD/CAM software. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions of finished work. Operate CNC lathe and mill machines to produce components as per the design specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and programs. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for complex design challenges. Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and staying abreast of advances in CNC programming technology.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the engineering industry. Proficiency in programming and operating 5 Axis machines. Extensive knowledge of machining operations and procedures. Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Experience in operating CNC lathe and mill machines. Strong understanding of CAD/CAM software. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A degree or diploma in a relevant field is preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Proven track record of adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment. Commitment to continuous learning and personal development. Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
