Operating a comprehensive, state-of-the-art facility, we feature large-capacity machining centers, gantry mills, vertical and horizontal machining centers, and hydraulic presses. From initial concept and CAD design to final production, we bring our customers' ideas to life with precision and speed. Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will develop precise CNC programs for our milling and turning centers, ensuring maximum production efficiency and top-tier part quality. Leveraging your expertise in Gibbs
CAM, CAD
modeling, and advanced machining processes, you will collaborate closely with our engineering and shop floor teams to drive innovation and manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities CAM Programming:
Develop and optimize efficient CNC programs for multi-axis mills and lathes using Gibbs
CAM . CAD
Modeling & Design:
Utilize AutoCAD and Inventor to read, interpret, and translate complex 2D blueprints and 3D customer models into machinable programs.
Process Optimization:
Recommend optimal tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds to improve cycle times, tool life, and overall process efficiency.
Collaboration & Support:
Work hand-in-hand with machinists, setup operators, and production managers to troubleshoot program issues on the shop floor and ensure on-time delivery.
Quality Assurance:
Utilize precision measuring instruments and advanced math to verify part dimensions, ensuring all products meet strict quality standards and tolerances.
Continuous Improvement:
Design and document manufacturing work instructions and standardized processes to minimize defects and reduce waste.
Safety:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in compliance with company safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience programming CNC machines (lathes and mills) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Software Proficiency:
Expert-level knowledge of GibbsCAM is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong blueprint reading skills, deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and mastery of precision measuring tools.
Education:
Technical degree, trade certification, or equivalent hands-on experience (Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus).
Work Ethic:
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Schedule Flexibility:
Standard full-time shift, with flexibility for overtime dictated by production workloads and manufacturing schedules.
