Job Overview We are seeking highly skilled and motivated CNC Programmers to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining CNC Milling machine programs. Responsibilities Develop and write CNC programs for CNC Mills using Fanuc & Haas controls. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate machining processes aligned with design specifications. Set up machining tools and fixtures on CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling selection based on project requirements. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, bore gauges, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other measurement instruments to verify part dimensions and quality. Optimize machining processes through lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Troubleshoot programming issues and machine malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime. Collaborate with engineering teams to review designs, provide feedback on manufacturability, and implement improvements in CNC programming workflows. Requirements Proven experience programming CNC mills. Familiarity with Fanuc controls and Haas controls. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics accurately. Experience with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines for quality control purposes. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and improve productivity. Ability to work with various materials used in metal machining and possess a strong foundation in machining tool setup and geometry considerations. Pay is commensurate with experience.
