About us U.S. Bronze Foundry & Machine, Inc. and its predecessors have been in continuous operation since before the Civil War. We have four companies under one roof, after a recent acquisition. Each one has its own unique focus, but as a team, with a broad set of skills, we become indispensable to our customers. This presents some interesting problems, requiring talented people with ambitious solutions. Job Summary Full-time, first shift programming, setup and operation of CNC and manual equipment to machine castings to customer prints. Responsibilities and Duties Program, Set up, operate and maintain machine tools (CNC Lathes and / or Mills) Read and interpret drawings Compute and document dimensions and tolerances Determine machining operation to be performed Plan the best sequence of operations Contribute to continuous improvement of operation Verify dimensions of products Knowledge and ability to operate manual machine tools Education Courses completed in machining High School Diploma (or equivalent) Skills Excellent communication skills Great attention to detail Good manual dexterity Good math skills Reads blueprints properly Solves problems effectively Visualizes finished products easily U.S. Bronze Foundry & Machine, Inc. provided the following inclusive hiring information: We are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
