Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate single or multiple CNC machining centers, including CNC lathes and mills.
Program and adjust CNC machining processes to manufacture close-tolerance components.
Install fixtures, tooling, and pre-set tools for production.
Read and interpret blueprints, metric drawings, routers, and technical specifications.
Inspect finished components using measuring devices, special gauges, and fixtures.
Ensure products meet quality and specification requirements.
Support production engineering during the design and launch of new production projects.
Work with the Quality department to establish efficient setups and programming processes.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and production setups.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and assist maintenance personnel with equipment repairs.
Identify safety concerns and recommend process or equipment improvements.
Maintain equipment and work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
Follow all applicable safety and Quality System Requirements.
Required Qualifications3-5 years of CNC machining experience.
Strong CNC programming experience.
Experience with CNC lathes and mills.
Knowledge of machining aluminum components.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and metric drawings.
Knowledge of GD&T and Core Tools.
Experience with CNC adjustments, tooling, and process improvements.
Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience using measuring and inspection equipment.
High attention to detail and good eyesight.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Reliable attendance and a stable work history.
Valid driver's license required.
