Job Description

Applicant Requirements Able to set up, program and operate CNC Lathes (Dual Spindle and Live tooling) Create and modify part programs for all CNC Lathe equipment using offline software and machine control panel. Able to select correct cutting tool geometry and materials. Use of precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, comparator. Extensive knowledge of G-Code, conversational and other programming languages Creating long hand G-Code and making program edits. Experience with Fanuc Controls. Able to work in quick paced job shop environment. Experience with machining plastics, aluminum, steel, and stainless. Able to hold and maintain tight tolerances when required. Takes pride in their work and delivers high quality workmanship. Reading and interpretation of Mechanical Engineering Drawings. Responsible for efficient set up and operation of CNC equipment Study blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products and determine product dimensions and tolerances Review assignments to ensure programs, tooling, and materials are ready prior to machine set-up Calculate speed and feed rates for the various turning, drilling, grooving, etc. operations as required. 4+ years of experience with
CNC LATHE
Programming preferred, but not required. Applicants must be able to interview in-person
