Job Description

CNC Programmer Work Arrangement:
Fully Onsite Location:
Alamo, TN 12 Months Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support our new state-of-the-art machining center operations. The ideal candidate will have strong programming experience using CAM software and a solid understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, fixtures, and optimization techniques. This role is responsible for developing, testing, and improving CNC programs that maximize machine performance, productivity, and part quality. Key Responsibilities Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using
ESPRIT EDGE
software. Develop machining strategies for complex components utilizing multi-axis machining centers. Generate toolpaths, setup sheets, maintain tooling lists, and related manufacturing documentation. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, machinists, quality personnel, and production teams to improve processes and reduce cycle times. Verify and simulate CNC programs to eliminate collisions and ensure process reliability. Select cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and work-holding methods for optimal production results. Support machine setup and prove-out activities for new and existing products. Troubleshoot machining and programming issues on the shop floor. Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction. Maintain accurate program revisions and documentation within company systems. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards. Required Qualifications Associate degree from technical school for machining or equivalent experience. Minimum 3-5 years of CNC programming experience. Proven experience with
ESPRIT EDGE CAM
software. Strong knowledge of CNC machining centers, including 3-axis and 5-axis equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models. Experience selecting and optimizing cutting tools and machining parameters. Proficiency in CNC controls such as Fanuc, Mazak, Mitsubishi, or similar. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience programming multi-tasking or mill-turn machines like DMG Mori
NTX 2500 & 3000

$60.00 - $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
