About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our precision manufacturing team at our brand-new 94K square foot, climate-controlled facility, in Allen, Texas. We have state-of-the-art DMG Mori Lathes, Mills, and Mill-Turn machines. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of CAM software experience, extensive experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, with the ability to read complex blueprints, work with tight tolerances, and ensure high-quality workmanship. This role requires a highly motivated individual with proven leadership skills, excellent technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, a strong commitment to safety, and continuous improvement. This is a second shift position. Hours are Monday - Thursday from 6pm to 6am. What You'll Do Develop and modify CNC programs for milling machines, lathes, and other machining centers using CAM software. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise machining operations aligned with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards. Optimize machining processes through lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance overall efficiency. Collaborate with design engineers utilizing CAD software such as SolidWorks to review designs and suggest manufacturability improvements. Ensure all operations adhere to safety protocols, while maintaining detailed documentation of programs and processes. Train and mentor junior machinists as needed

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred 2 years' experience with Esprit or other CAM Software. Minimum 5+ years of experience as a machinist, with at least 2 years setting up CNC lathes or mills. Excellent Leadership qualities Strong knowledge of manual machining and CNC operations (including G and M code understanding) Proficient with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques Ability to interpret complex blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and quality Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods Familiarity with ISO, AS9100, or other quality standards is a plus
