Spring, TX | Full-time | On-site | Overtime eligible This is a strong opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer who wants more ownership than simply editing an existing program or making adjustments at the machine. You will take parts from engineering drawings and models through programming, tooling strategy, setup development, prove-out and production optimization. The work supports complex, high-value equipment used in demanding offshore and subsea environments where accuracy, reliability and traceability matter. What you will be doing Develop, modify and maintain CNC programs using
ESPRIT CAD/CAM
Translate engineering drawings, specifications and models into accurate machining programs Determine machining sequences, tooling, workholding, speeds, feeds and setup requirements Support program prove-outs, first runs and troubleshooting directly with machinists and production Evaluate parts for manufacturability, machine capability and the most efficient production approach Improve cycle time, tool life, quality, repeatability and overall machine utilization Create and maintain setup documentation, operating procedures and program revision control Work closely with manufacturing engineering, planning, quality and production teams Support new equipment, software updates, machine connectivity and manufacturing technology improvements Provide technical direction or mentoring to other programmers and machinists at the senior level What they are looking for The clearest fit is someone who can independently take a part from print or model through a reliable production process. Strong hands-on experience programming CNC equipment in a precision manufacturing environment Current working experience with ESPRIT is important Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and GD&T Practical knowledge of cutting tools, workholding, feeds, speeds and machining strategy Experience proving out programs and solving issues on the manufacturing floor Ability to balance part quality with cycle time, tooling cost and machine availability Comfortable working across engineering, programming, machining and quality teams Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office and controlled manufacturing documentation Level can be adjusted based on experience. For the senior opening, the current target is approximately 6-15 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
