This role focuses on creating plugs and molds used in fiberglass production. You will take projects from concept through design, programming, setup, and machining on large-format CNC equipment, working closely with the team to develop high-quality tooling. Primary Responsibilities Design tooling components (plugs and molds) using SolidWorks Program CNC toolpaths using PowerMill and/or Fusion 360 Set up, operate, and run large-format CNC machines from start to finish Interpret engineering drawings, apply proper tolerances, and ensure dimensional accuracy Collaborate with the team to develop and refine tooling solutions Troubleshoot machines, tooling, fixtures, and programs to maintain production flow Perform hands-on machining and support the full production process of composite tooling Maintain quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement Requirements 5-10 years of hands-on CNC programming and operating experience Proven ability to design, program, set up, and run large-format CNC machines Proficiency with SolidWorks (design) and CAM software (PowerMill and/or Fusion 360) Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerance requirements Experience troubleshooting CNC machines, tools, and fixtures Comfortable working in a team environment to develop tooling solutions Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience with composite materials, plugs, molds, or fiberglass tooling Background in aerospace, marine, or industrial composite production environments What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to work on meaningful tooling projects in a growing composites company Collaborative team environment Health insurance options and paid time off How to Apply Please submit your resume through Indeed and include a short note highlighting your experience with SolidWorks, PowerMill/Fusion 360, and large-format CNC machines.
