Job Description
Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Programmer Tasks Program, test, and revise machine programming. Works with machinists to proof first article programs Works with project managers and manufacturing engineers; developing the best process for success Analyze blueprints and job orders before programming and compare results with original specifications. Sequence automatic machine operations and select cutting tools. Program 4 and 5 axis parts; for both mill and lathes using Mastercam X Qualifications Proficient in CNC programming and CAM programming Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Experience with Fanuc and AutoCAD software Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and GD&T Familiarity with electrical discharge machining and coordinate measuring machines Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers Mechanical knowledge and experience with CNC lathe operations Summary As a CNC Programmer, you will be integral to our manufacturing operations, utilizing your expertise in CNC programming and blueprint reading to produce high-quality components. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will leverage your skills in AutoCAD and Fanuc to optimize machining processes and ensure adherence to GD&T standards. Your mechanical knowledge and proficiency with precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, will be essential in maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
