Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will develop and optimize CNC machine programs to produce metal components with exceptional accuracy and quality. Your expertise in CAD/CAM software, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and machining processes will drive efficiency and precision across our production lines. Duties Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for Trumpf Laser and Punch. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate machining processes aligned with design specifications. Set up CNC machining tools and fixtures, ensuring proper tooling selection based on project requirements. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, bore gauges, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other measurement instruments to verify part quality. Troubleshoot machining issues related to geometry, tooling, or machine operation to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Collaborate with engineering teams to refine machining processes and improve overall manufacturing efficiency. Experience Proven experience programming CNC punch and laser in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA for engineering CAD design and schematic interpretation. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints accurately. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and metal alloys.
