Job Description

Company Overview VNE Corporation is a leading manufacturer specializing in stainless steel fittings, valves, and related products for both sanitary and industrial applications. VNE Corporation is looking to add a CNC Lathe Setup Technician to our team!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop programs. Set-up, check programs, and operate CNC machining equipment to perform a complex series of progressive machining operations to meet precise tolerance and finish requirements. Understand program format, work from operational data defining and coding tooling, fixturing, and machine arrangements. Arrange, mount and secure tooling. Mount, align and secure holding fixtures or locate, support and secure work piece in absence of fixturing. Set stops; calibrate fixturing to appropriate reference points. Manually cycle machine through operation sequence to check fixture and work positions, tooling, clearances, speeds, feeds, etc. Adjust machine or program/offsets to correct deviations from program specifications. Recognize, report and correct errors. Recommend tooling applications and operational sequence to assist in developing practical programming for new and unusual machining requirements. Work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications. Regular and dependable attendance a must.
Job-Related Experience/Knowledge Required:
2-3 years of relevant, job-related experience is required. Must have experience with basic math, algebra & geometry. A 2-year technical degree from an accredited school is desired.
