CNC Lathe Setup/Programmer Wage:
$30.00- $40.
Shift:
1stShift Hours:
06:00 am- 03:30 pm We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Setup Programmer/Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team on 1st shift.
CNC Lathe Setup/Programmer Responsibilities:
- Write and edit G-code programs for CNC milling machines.
- Perform complete machine setups, prove out programs, and optimize cycle times.
- Design and build fixtures for machining centers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Select tooling, establish work offsets, and make program adjustments as needed.
- Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes. Requirements for Skilled
CNC Lathe Setup/Programmer:
- Minimum 5 years of current CNC mill programming experience.
- Strong experience writing and editing G-code.
- Proven ability to perform complete CNC mill setups independently.
- Experience designing and building machining fixtures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient with precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, speeds, and tight tolerances.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards.
