Job Description Position Title:
CNC Programmer Wage:
Up to $56.00/hour We're partnering with a highly respected precision manufacturer in the Richfield, WI area that serves defense, military, power generation, semiconductor equipment, and other advanced industrial markets. Due to significant growth and increasing programming demand, they are adding experienced CNC Programmers to support complex machining operations and help drive process standardization across the business. This is a true programming-focused role, not a hybrid setup/programming position. You'll play a key role developing and optimizing CNC programs for complex 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers while collaborating closely with engineers, machinists, and manufacturing leadership. Relocation assistance available!CNC Programmer Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (Powermill preferred)
- Create efficient toolpaths, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies
- Support complex precision machining projects across a large part portfolio
- Collaborate on tooling, fixturing, and machining process improvements
- Troubleshoot production challenges and improve cycle times and quality
- Mentor junior programmers and help establish programming best practices Requirements for
CNC Programmer:
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- 2+ years of CNC programming experience (senior-level backgrounds preferred)
- Experience programming in a production manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of tooling, fixturing, feeds, speeds, and machining processes
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements
- Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis machining
- Powermill experience strongly preferred, but comparable CAD/CAM experience will be considered
