Our teams contribute directly to the manufacturing excellence of aircraft components and subassemblies for global OEMs.
We are seeking Aircraft Painter to join a dedicated team supporting aircraft manufacturing and final assembly operations in Mobile, Alabama.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing aircraft components and assemblies for painting and performing painting and finishing operations in accordance with technical documentation, aerospace standards, and customer requirements.
Main responsibilities:
Read and follow painting procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.
Prepare metal, composite, and other surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface treatment.
Perform primer and finish coating applications using appropriate painting equipment.
Perform paint touch-ups and corrections when required.
Prepare and paint mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies on the customer site.
Verify the quality and conformity of painted components, including coating thickness, appearance, and adhesion.
Maintain accurate traceability of completed operations and materials used.
Report issues and work progress to the supervisor or manager.
Follow all applicable safety procedures and customer requirements.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or painting environment.
- Experience with surface preparation and paint application techniques.
- Knowledge of painting tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation and procedures.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Military or aviation background is a plus.
