Full-Time / Contract About the Role We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Aircraft Paint Preppers to join our team in Kingman, AZ. As a Paint Prepper, you will play a key role in the aircraft painting process, ensuring surfaces are properly cleaned, sanded, masked, and primed prior to final paint application. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience in paint preparation to continue building their career in aviation finishing. Key Responsibilities Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, stripping, and masking. Remove old paint, corrosion, grease, and contaminants using approved methods (solvents, sanding, blasting, etc.). Apply body fillers and sealants as required and sand them to smooth finishes. Mask and protect windows, antennas, trim, and other non-painted areas. Assist painters with priming and topcoat application when needed. Inspect completed prep work to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe condition. Follow company, FAA, and OSHA safety requirements at all times. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in paint preparation (aviation, automotive, or industrial). Knowledge of sanding, masking, and corrosion removal techniques. Ability to work with hand tools, sanders, grinders, and other prep equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs).
