Job Description

We have an outstanding Contract position for anFAA Painter to join a leading Company located in theTempe, AZ surrounding area.
Pay Rate:
$21/hr
Schedule:
1st Shift The FAA Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying industrial coatings and paint finishes to metal and other aircraft-related components in accordance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and FAA requirements. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to achieve high-quality finishes using spray painting equipment and related tools.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, masking, sanding, and other surface preparation methods. + Operate spray painting equipment to apply primers, paints, and protective coatings to parts and assemblies. + Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications and work instructions. + Inspect painted surfaces for quality, coverage, finish consistency, and compliance with specifications. + Perform touch-up and rework activities as required. + Maintain painting equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition. + Follow FAA, company, quality, environmental, and safety standards and procedures. + Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and in a timely . + Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with other production activities as needed.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required. + Technical training, vocational education, apprenticeship, or formal training in painting, coatings, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred. + 0-2 years of industrial painting, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or related experience preferred. + Knowledge of spray-painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and coating applications. + Ability to read and follow work instructions, technical specifications, and safety procedures. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
