Job Title:
Painter Helper Job Description Join our team as a Painter Helper, where you will assist in the manufacturing process of diamond blades and core bits primarily used in the construction, stone, and mining industries. Your role will involve painting parts and covering molds, contributing to the production of high-quality products that cut and grind a variety of surfaces, including brick, mortar, concrete, granite, engineered stone, tile, and glass. Responsibilities Paint parts and cover molds as specified. Read job orders to determine the required paint colors for blades. Mix paint using acetone and water, and determine the number of colors needed. Use a spray gun to paint the blades. Read, understand, and perform duties based on training, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and job orders. Inspect materials being produced or packed and perform required tests as defined in standard operating procedures. Communicate effectively and report any problems to the supervisor. Meet production goals in a timely manner, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. Perform inspections of materials being produced as defined in standard operating procedures. Essential Skills Painting and paint preparation Adherence to PPE guidelines (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots) Basic production or construction experience (1+ year) Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with industrial painting, spray guns, and paint booths is a plus Comfortable working with paint and acetone Previous experience in an environment where getting dirty is common Why Work Here? Work Environment Work within a paint booth on the 2nd shift from 4pm to 12:30am, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime. The role requires adherence to strict PPE guidelines to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
