Job Description

Job Overview Will provide training if you do not have the experience. You will start as an assistant. We are seeking a skilled Painter's assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of safety protocols. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a range of projects, including construction and industrial applications. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while working in various environments. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards. Skills Proficiency in construction painting techniques and methods. Familiarity with industrial painting processes and materials. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities. Experience with precision measuring instruments for accurate application. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus. Ability to fabricate components as needed for specific projects. Experience in auto body repair or auto painting is advantageous. Previous experience in warehouse settings is beneficial.
