We are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in producing high-quality work, understands the importance of proper preparation and color matching, and can maintain an efficient production pace without sacrificing quality. Responsibilities Prepare vehicles and panels for refinishing, including sanding, masking, cleaning, and surface preparation Mix and match paint colors accurately using manufacturer and paint-system specifications Apply basecoat, clearcoat, primers, sealers, and other refinishing materials Perform blend work and full-panel refinishing as required Inspect completed work for proper color match, finish, texture, and overall quality Identify and correct paint imperfections when necessary Maintain a clean, organized, and safe paint booth and work area Properly maintain spray guns, paint equipment, and related tools Work closely with body technicians, estimators, and management to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the repair process Follow all shop safety procedures and environmental regulations Qualifications Previous professional automotive refinishing experience required Strong knowledge of automotive paint preparation, application, and blending techniques Ability to consistently produce high-quality color matches and finishes Experience with modern waterborne and/or solvent-based paint systems Ability to work efficiently in a production-oriented collision repair environment Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and professional work habits Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record I-CAR or manufacturer certifications are a plus What We're Looking For We want someone who understands that great paint work starts long before the trigger is pulled. The right candidate knows how to properly prep a vehicle, recognizes when something isn't ready for paint, and takes ownership of the finished product. You should be able to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.
