We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Painter with a minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience in a commercial painting role . This is not an entry-level position . Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience in commercial painting environments — applications without this experience will not be considered .
Note:
Experience in automotive painting or other non-building-related painting trades does not qualify for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality commercial painting using spray equipment, brush, and roller Execute thorough surface preparation , including sanding, patching, caulking, masking, and priming Apply coatings to a variety of surfaces including drywall, metal, concrete, and wood Operate and maintain airless and conventional spray equipment Follow project specifications, blueprints, and finish schedules Ensure proper paint mixing, matching, and application techniques Maintain clean and organized work areas, including proper protection of surrounding surfaces Adhere to safety standards and OSHA regulations on all job sites Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other trades on site Identify and resolve minor surface or coating issues independently Assist with setup and teardown of job sites, including scaffolding and lifts when required Qualifications (Required): Minimum 1 year of commercial painting experience (mandatory) Experience must be in building/commercial painting — not automotive or unrelated painting fields Strong knowledge of spray, brush, and roll techniques Proven experience with proper prep work and surface correction Familiarity with commercial-grade coatings and materials Ability to work at heights and operate lifts/scaffolding safely Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic understanding of safety procedures and PPE usage Preferred (Not Required): Experience on large-scale commercial projects (offices, retail, industrial, etc.) Knowledge of specialty coatings (epoxy, elastomeric, waterproofing, etc.) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Commercial job sites (interior and exterior) May require early mornings, overtime, or weekend work depending on project demands Physical labor including lifting, climbing, and extended periods of standing
