Ruby's Auto Body is looking for an experienced Auto Body Painter to join our team in La Junta, Colorado. If you are an experienced painter who can take ownership of your work from prep through final finish, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do Prepare vehicles and panels for refinishing, including sanding, masking, priming, and sealing Mix and match colors accurately for a high quality finish Apply basecoat, clearcoat, and automotive finishes Perform color matching, blending, and refinishing across panels Inspect your work and correct imperfections before vehicles leave the shop Buff and polish finished vehicles as needed Work with body technicians and the production team to keep repairs moving efficiently Maintain paint equipment, spray guns, paint areas, and the spray booth Take ownership of paint quality and deliver work you are proud to put your name on Who We're Looking For We are not looking for someone who simply wants another job. The ideal candidate has professional experience with: Automotive collision refinishing Paint preparation and surface preparation Color matching and blending Basecoat and clearcoat application Modern automotive paint systems and spray equipment Producing consistent, high quality finishes You should be dependable, productive, detail oriented, and comfortable working independently while being part of a team.
