Pay depends on experience and it is by job not by hour Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Experience Painter to bring vibrant, durable finishes to residential, commercial, and industrial projects. As an integral part of our construction and renovation teams, you will apply your expertise in surface preparation, coating, and painting techniques to transform spaces with precision and artistry. Your role will involve interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials, and adhering to safety standards to deliver high-quality results that exceed client expectations. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, drywall repair, stucco work, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying and conventional spray techniques), ensuring even coverage and color consistency Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and color theory principles to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes Use hand tools and power tools safely for surface preparation, fixture installation, or minor repairs during renovation projects Conduct construction site surface assessments to determine appropriate coating methods for structural or industrial applications Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to all safety protocols during all painting activities Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for accurate documentation Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, industrial coating applications, or construction site painting projects Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects and surface preparation Familiarity with construction estimating tools and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints Skilled in various painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (airless and conventional), and drywall finishing Ability to work at heights using ladders safely and efficiently while maintaining balance and stability Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting environments including respiratory protection protocols Experience with surface preparation tasks such as sanding, caulking, stucco repair, drywall finishing, fixture installation, and remodeling projects Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coatings application and material quantities Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members on project specifications and timelines Construction site experience with renovation or maintenance projects preferred; handyman or remodeling background is a plus Join our team as an Experience Painter if you are passionate about delivering exceptional craftsmanship while maintaining a safe working environment.
