In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets high-quality standards while adhering to safety regulations and client specifications. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly through cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and durability Apply paints, stains, coatings, and finishes using a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns (airless and conventional), and power tools Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately execute painting tasks according to project plans Use ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely to reach high or hard-to-access areas while following strict safety protocols Conduct surface preparation for construction painting projects such as drywall finishing, stucco application, or structural painting Perform touch-ups and detailed work to ensure a flawless finish that matches color schemes based on visual color comparison techniques Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste disposal of paints and chemicals in compliance with safety regulations Requirements Proven experience in construction painting, including residential, commercial, or industrial settings Proficiency with hand tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray painting), roller painting, brush painting, and power tools Knowledge of construction estimating processes and basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating material needs Familiarity with construction site safety regulations including respiratory protection and safety protocol adherence Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately for precise application of coatings Experience with surface preparation techniques such as sanding, caulking (including stucco), and fixture installation for remodeling or renovation projects Strong understanding of color theory for effective visual color matching and finishing touches Excellent hand-eye coordination with the ability to use ladders safely for elevated work tasks Additional handyman experience or remodeling background is a plus for versatile project support Join us in transforming spaces with expert craftsmanship!
