Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Welder/Industrial Painter to join our dynamic fabrication team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision welding and expert surface finishing. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in metal fabrication, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. You will play a vital role in constructing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment and structures, ensuring they meet rigorous specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities Perform various welding techniques including
MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on different metal materials such as sheet metal, structural steel, and other alloys. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately execute welding and assembly tasks. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, measuring tapes, and shop math to ensure precise dimensions and fit-up of components. Operate power tools, plasma cutters, gas metal arc welding equipment, and other fabrication machinery safely and efficiently. Conduct surface preparation and finishing tasks including industrial painting to protect welds and fabricated parts from corrosion and wear. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, AWS standards, ASME codes & standards during all phases of welding and fabrication work. Collaborate with team members on assembly processes, mechanical fabrication projects, and quality inspections to meet project deadlines. Experience Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of industrial environments. Extensive hands-on experience with various welding techniques:
MIG, TIG, FCAW
; proficiency in welding preferred. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and interpret mechanical blueprints accurately. Familiarity with the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, shop math calculations, and other measuring tools. Prior experience working in fabrication shops or on metal fabrication projects involving sheet metal fabrication and mechanical assembly. Knowledge of safety protocols specific to welding operations and industrial painting environments. Mechanical knowledge related to the operation of power tools, machining processes, plasma cutting equipment, and assembly procedures.
