Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (core hours) About Omega Medical Imaging Omega Medical Imaging designs and manufactures advanced image-guided interventional systems used in hospitals and medical facilities worldwide. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality, high-reliability medical technology that supports Advanced Endoscopy and Interventional Cardiology. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Painter to join our Production team. This role is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing components to meet strict quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare parts for painting, including sanding, Bondo application, and surface preparation Apply primer, paint, and coatings to components Inspect finished parts for quality, consistency, and defects Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE Keep accurate production and quality logs Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate status updates to supervisor as needed Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of industrial or automotive painting experience Basic knowledge of painting materials, tools, and processes Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. Knowledge of safety practices and proper handling of chemicals/materials Experience in regulated industries (medical device, aerospace, automotive) is a plus Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus Work Environment This position is primarily based in a production environment that may include noise, equipment, and occasional chemical involvement. Work is performed in an air-conditioned facility with required safety and regulatory compliance.
