Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets high standards of quality, safety, and durability. Duties Prepare surfaces through sanding, scraping, caulking, plastering, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and color schemes to execute precise painting tasks Apply paints and coatings using hand tools such as brushes and rollers or power tools including paint sprayers and airless spray systems for efficient coverage Perform structural painting on various surfaces like stucco, masonry, concrete, and wood structures in both interior and exterior environments Conduct surface preparation for construction painting projects by sanding, priming, patching cracks or holes, and ensuring surfaces meet safety regulations before painting begins Use ladders safely to reach high or hard-to-access areas while adhering strictly to safety protocol guidelines including respiratory protection when necessary Execute finishing touches such as trim carpentry, fixture installation, caulking, and touch-up work to achieve a polished look Assist with renovation projects by collaborating with carpenters, masons, drywall installers, and other trades to ensure seamless project completion Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools like hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment after each use Experience Proven experience in construction estimating and understanding project scopes related to painting jobs Demonstrated expertise in residential painting as well as commercial and industrial coating applications Strong knowledge of color theory for accurate visual color comparison and matching techniques Hands-on experience with various painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, conventional spraying, and airless paint spraying Familiarity with construction site safety regulations including proper use of respiratory protection and adherence to safety protocols Ability to interpret technical drawings such as blueprints or surface preparation instructions accurately Experience working on construction sites involving renovation or restoration projects with exposure to plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry work, framing carpentry or concrete finishing is highly desirable Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during surface preparation or estimating quantities of materials needed Knowledge of maintenance tasks related to fixture installation or handyman services is a plus Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces with precision craftsmanship!
