Job Summary
Aircraft Painter
Location:
Macon, GA 31216
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Aircraft Painters to join a growing team in Macon, GA. This position supports the painting and refinishing of commercial and regional aircraft in a heavy maintenance environment. Candidates must have prior aircraft painting experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-focused setting.
This position is on the night shift.

Hours:
6:00 PM - 5:30 AM
Schedule and days off will vary based on aircraft production and workflow.
Responsibilities
Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, cleaning, and applying primers.
Mix and apply paints, primers, clear coats, and specialty coatings in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Paint commercial and regional aircraft while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Perform touch-ups, striping, decals, and finish work as required.
Inspect painted surfaces to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain painting equipment, spray guns, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Follow all FAA regulations, company procedures, and environmental and safety guidelines.
Work effectively as part of a team to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.
Requirements
Previous aircraft painting experience is required.
Experience painting commercial, regional, business, military, or other aircraft is acceptable.
Ability to properly prepare, mask, prime, and paint aircraft surfaces.
Familiarity with aircraft paint systems, spray equipment, and finishing techniques.
Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Must be able to work the required night shift (6:00 PM - 5:30 AM).
Must be able to stand for extended periods, climb ladders and work stands, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an MRO, aircraft manufacturing, or heavy maintenance environment.
Experience with complete aircraft paint projects and refinishing.
