Job Overview We are seeking skilled and motivated Journeyman Painters and Laborers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces through precise surface preparation, coating application, and finishing touches. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and conventional spray equipment Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and surface specifications to accurately execute projects Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform repairs, patching, or structural painting tasks on various surfaces such as drywall, stucco, masonry, or metal Perform surface preparation tasks including plastering, sanding, masking, and surface leveling for both interior and exterior projects Assist with renovation and remodeling projects by installing fixtures, trim carpentry, framing, drywall installation, and masonry work as needed Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection when necessary and adhering to all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment Experience Proven experience in construction painting with a solid understanding of surface preparation techniques and coating applications Familiarity with residential painting practices as well as commercial and industrial painting environments Ability to read blueprints or schematics accurately and interpret technical drawings for precise project execution Hands-on experience with various hand tools, power tools (including airless spray equipment), paint sprayers (both conventional and industrial), brushes, rollers, caulking guns, etc. Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites including proper use of respiratory protection and adherence to safety protocols Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coatings or material quantities Experience with related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), plastering, masonry, welding or concrete finishing is a plus Demonstrated ability to work efficiently on construction sites with a focus on quality craftsmanship in renovation or restoration projects Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert painting techniques!
