FUNCTIONS

Transports equipment and parts to the paint room and positions for painting Assembles spray gun and equipment and prepares paint and gun for painting Spray paints equipment and parts per Customer Order with specified color Cleans paint booth, lights and spray gun equipment Maintains the filters on the Paint Booth and records the Change out Maintain the Waste Paint Barrels and Paint Shed Notifies Purchasing of Paint, equipment, filters, stickers and misc. supplies needed Painter will be required to do other jobs in the department

GENERAL INFORMATION

Transports equipment in a Safe manner with two-wheel cart or pallet jack Heavy equipment should not be moved until they are dry Performs other Duties as required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience :

One year shop experience.

Skills :

Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair and maintenance. The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull and carry objects. The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs. Using hands and arms in handling, installing, forming, positioning, and moving materials or in manipulating things such as hand tools and hoist.

Requirements:

Operator must work in a safe manner and must have a safe work record. Safety must be the first and foremost concern as these machines are capable of great bodily harm.
