Assembly/Industrial Automotive Painter Job Description - THIRD

SHIFT MUST HAVE

Requirements:

Able to operate Automotive airless spray system and use all body shop equipment properly and safely. Tape off parts correctly that are not to be painted. Able to mix multiple colors of automotive paint & primer. Able to spray primer & automotive paint with airless spray gun system. Able to inspect parts for dents and rust before spraying primer & Automotive paint with airless spray gun and without any runs or sags and good finish on all parts. Maintain tools and keep airless paint system equipment clean and in good working conditions. Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator in a manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to primer, Automotive paint, thinner and other hazardous material and report any deviation to supervisor. Must have a positive work ethic and willing to be a team player. Able to keep work habits assessed.

Additional Skills:

Able to use overhead cranes with proper chains/straps/shackles/s-hooks to bring parts in and out of paint booth. Able to use fork truck to bring parts in and out of paint booth.

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
