None Position Summary:

Applies coatings to a variety of surfaces with lacquers, enamels, or special commercial finishers. Mix finishes as required, adjusts paint flow to product and maintains equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Operates a spray painter to apply industrial paint finishes on metal products Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the painting equipment, painting booth and carts Responsible for the storage and organization of the painting supplies Must be able to prep and paint products to meet or exceed current production rates and meet all quality standards Capable of producing a good finish Responsible to keep the department clean and organized Other duties as assigned

Competencies:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to pay close attention to detail Knowledge of assembling, regulating hand or automatic spray guns Must maintain a labor efficiency of at least 90% or higher at all times Must take and pass written math test Must take and pass forklift certification Ability to lift approximately 75 lbs.

Required education and experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training Equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay:

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
