Job Description

The Automotive Paint Laborer supports the paint department by preparing components for painting, assisting painters, and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This is an entry-level position with opportunities to grow into a skilled automotive painter role. Key Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming Assist painters with mixing paints, staging materials, and maintaining equipment Move vehicles or parts in and out of paint booths as needed Clean and maintain spray booths, tools, and work areas Remove masking materials and perform basic finishing tasks after painting Identify surface imperfections and report issues prior to painting Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of chemicals Dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines Support team members with general shop duties as assigned
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
