Job Description

Description:
Set up, operate, or tend machines to coat or paint any of a wide variety of products. Industrial or Automotive experience required. Paint Sprayers/ Paint Booth.
Duties:
Wash, mask and hang unfinished parts Sand and clean parts in preparation for painting Mix paints per specifications and requirements Operate manual painting equipment Help maintain paint lines, spray booths and other equipment Using a variety of hand tools from wrenches and drills to dual action sanders and mixing equipment. Abrades surfaces of metal or hard-composition objects to remove adhering scale and dirt, and to impart specified finish, using abrasive- blasting equipment: Shovels or pours abrasives, such as glass bead sand, grit, shot or other specified blast media of specified grade into machine hopper or reclaim systems. Clean and maintain equipment and work area Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
Previous industrial painting experience required Ability to work from blueprints, shop orders, written procedures, and verbal instructions from a Supervisor Knowledge of EPA guidelines and generally accepted practices and procedures related to the duties needed for this role.
