Perform preparation work prior or after painting such as grinding, sanding, buffing. For parts not painted, mask-off areas not to be painted. Fill cavities and dents as necessary and surfaces repaired area to attain required finish Cleans and prepares surface of articles to be painted using solvent, sandpaper and wire brush Moves painted articles from preparation area to and from paint booth Finish surfaces by polishing with sandpaper, pumice, compound, wax or other materials Maintain clean and safe work environment Perform other tasks as assigned or approved by the supervisor Background in paint and body repair with a minimum of 1 years hands-on experience.
