Responsibilities Prepare cabinet surfaces through sanding, masking, and surface treatment to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Operate spray guns, airless paint sprayers, and conventional spray systems with precision and safety adherence Interpret production documents including work orders, technical specifications, and quality standards to ensure accurate application processes Handle materials safely using proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including respirators and respiratory protection gear, following all safety protocols Conduct visual color comparisons and quality inspections to verify finish consistency and adherence to color specifications Maintain equipment such as coating spray guns, power tools, machining tools, and auto body repair tools in optimal condition for efficient production Skills Proficiency in industrial painting techniques including powder coating, auto painting, construction painting surface preparation, and coating application methods Mechanical knowledge related to machining, assembly processes, and the operation of power tools used in finishing tasks Ability to interpret production documents accurately for process compliance and quality assurance Strong understanding of safety protocols with consistent PPE use including respirators and respiratory protection devices Experience with materials handling procedures for cabinetry components in a manufacturing setting Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating thicknesses and material quantities This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in industrial finishing while contributing to high-quality cabinetry production.
