As we continue to grow, we're looking for a detail-oriented team member who can help keep our Shopify store and website running smoothly, while also providing administrative and customer support. Role Overview We are seeking a Part-Time E-Commerce & Website Assistant to join our small team. This position is primarily focused on Shopify, website management, online orders, and e-commerce support, with approximately 25% of the role dedicated to administrative and customer service responsibilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in Shopify, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys keeping a website organized, accurate, and up to date. Key Responsibilities Shopify & Website — Approximately 75% Manage and maintain products within Shopify, including adding and updating products, descriptions, pricing, images, collections, and other product information. Assist with keeping the Iconic Flame website accurate, organized, and up to date. Add and update website content, product information, and promotional materials as needed. Maintain product collections, categories, tags, and other Shopify organization. Process and manage online customer orders through Shopify. Monitor online orders and order status, communicating with customers when needed. Assist with product merchandising and keeping the online store organized and customer-friendly. Review product pages for accuracy and identify information that needs to be updated or corrected. Assist with basic e-commerce troubleshooting and website-related tasks. Help support ongoing improvements to the online shopping experience. Work with the team on special website and e-commerce projects as Iconic Flame continues to grow. Administration & Customer Support — Approximately 25% Generate customer quotes and proposals based on product selections and customer needs. Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email. Track customer orders and shipments and provide updates as needed. Communicate with customers, vendors, freight companies, and our internal team. Coordinate with vendors and shipping companies to help ensure timely deliveries. Help resolve customer questions and order issues. Maintain spreadsheets and organize customer, sales, and order information. Assist with inventory tracking and other administrative projects. Help with general office organization and administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous Shopify or e-commerce experience is strongly preferred. Experience managing or updating a Shopify website is a major plus. Strong computer skills and comfort working with online platforms and website tools. Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with product information, pricing, orders, and website content. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer service experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Sheets. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Dependable, positive attitude and willingness to learn. Comfortable working in a small-business environment where responsibilities can vary from day to day. What We Offer Starting pay of $20 per hour, based on experience. Flexible working hours.
