We are looking for a Manufacturing Painter Blaster to join our Iron River, MI Team! The Painter Blaster operates spray painting and blasting equipment to apply protective coatings to structural materials. Consistently maintains high quality, meets or exceeds routed hours and leads and demonstrates safety in the workplace.

MAJOR DUTIES

Must be able to apply all zinc/epoxy/enamel coatings with airless and pressure pot or wire sprayOperate blaster safely to production schedule and perform all general maintenancePrep parts according to shop order/blueprint by taping and cleaning designated surfaces with no assistanceUnderstands different types of paints and materials applied and how to mixMaintains the highest standards of qualityFunctions as team player with co-workers and mentor othersBasic blueprints skillsAbility to rebuild spray guns/paint pots and airless spray machine without assistanceMust obtain SSPC paint and blast certificationsMust properly utilize paint, environmental, and waste stream data sheetsOther duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience as an Industrial Manufacturing Painter, Industrial Coatings Painter Blaster, or Automotive Painter strongly desired
