• 2:00 PM Summary Responsible for preparing surfaces and applying powder coatings to various parts and products, ensuring high-quality finishes, adherence to specifications, and efficient operation of powder coating equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, ovens, and wash systems.
• Apply powder coating to achieve specified thickness, coverage, and finish quality.
• Responsible for training painters.
• Monitor curing processes and temperatures to ensure optimal adhesion and durability.
• Conduct visual inspections of finished products for defects, runs, sags, or uneven coverage.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of powder coating equipment and booth.
• Maintain accurate records of production, materials used, and quality control checks.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Troubleshoot basic issues with powder coating equipment and processes.
• Assist with inventory management of powder coat materials and supplies.

Requirements Education and/or

Experience:

High school diploma or GED required. 3-5 years of experience in powder coating, industrial painting, or a related field preferred. Technical or vocational training in painting or finishing a plus.
